Ford Downes

As Senior Relationship Manager for Quantum Strategies, Ford Downes specializes in servicing both private and small-scale institutional clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. In this capacity, Mr. Downes works in accordance with clients to develop and implement a comprehensive and complete financial strategy, allowing clients to meet and exceed their financial goals.

Mr. Downes works diligently to ensure a complete understanding of his client’s risk-tolerance, lifestyle and financial objectives in order to deliver the most targeted and specific results. Mr. Downes is also keenly aware that client’s priorities are constantly evolving and, as a result, can quickly pivot and provide alternative solutions. Further complimenting his family business planning services, Mr. Downes works with various financial institutions, non-profit organizations and charitable foundations, providing them the same level of innovative and extensive advisory services.

Outside of work, Mr. Downes lends his time to supporting many community and philanthropic organizations. He serves on the Board of the First State Police Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Delaware, and is an active Committee Member for Brandywine High School Stadium. Additionally, he is also the Assistant Baseball Coach at Brandywine High School and coaches Little League Baseball.

Prior to joining Quantum Strategies, Mr. Downes held positions with MetLife & Swarthmore Financial Services and attended the University of Delaware. Mr. Downes holds his Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.

A lifelong Delawarean, Mr. Downes grew up in Smyrna; spending summers in Dewey Beach. Mr. Downes resides in Wilmington, Delaware with his wife Marie & 2 young children.
